As part of our mission, AfiCHI organizes regular medical outreaches and health awareness programmes across communities, while mobilizing resources through CSR, philanthropist sponsorships for low income households and vulnerable groups. These efforts not only provide immediate care but create sustainable pathways for long-term health access for the people that need it the most.
Afiyavest Community Health Initiative (AfiCHI) is committed to reducing the deep disparities in access to quality healthcare across underserved communities. Through a community-driven model, AfiCHI strengthens health outcomes by focusing on three core programs:
We deliver free mobile clinics that provide consultations, investigations, basic treatment, maternal and child healthcare, and essential medicines. These outreaches bring critical services directly to communities that lack regular access to healthcare facilities.
We conduct targeted health education campaigns on hygiene, nutrition, disease prevention, early detection and the importance of health safety net. By empowering communities with knowledge, we promote healthier behaviours that reduce avoidable illnesses.
To ensure access to care, AfiCHI connects vulnerable households to affordable health coverage through partnerships with HMOs and SSHIAs. Through donor and CSR sponsorships, low-income families receive sustainable protection beyond one-time outreach events.
